Warfighter Hemp for Dogs
Warfighter Hemp for Dogs is a CBD tincture intended to help your pooch feel good and allow you to do good at the same time. Half of the proceeds from each sale benefit Semper K9, a nonprofit that trains service dogs for returning military veterans. Under direction from a veterinarian, a pet owner may choose to use a dropper to directly administer the naturally flavored tincture—a blend of CBD and organic hemp oil—or mix the stuff into a bowl of dog food, a treat or even a bowl of water. Potential benefits highlighted by the maker include relief of canine pain and anxiety.
Spectrum Confections
David Klein, the inventor of Jelly Belly candies, has a sweet deal for CBD users. His new venture, Spectrum Confections (not affiliated with the Jelly Belly Candy Co.), has concocted regular, sour and sugar-free gourmet jelly beans in 38 flavors. Each bean contains 10 mg of CBD. The candy even comes with clever names, such as CBD Cherry Sour Goosebumps. “We are not making any health claims,” Klein says, “but the reason we got into this business is we personally use CBD and have seen firsthand the effects on pain and well-being.” Klein says his interest in creating CBD jelly beans piqued in 2018 after his wife, Rebecca, used CBD edibles to reduce pain and enable sleep after suffering injuries in a fall.
Beboe Calming Blend CBD Vape Pen
Beboe, a Los Angeles cannabis company catering to a high-end clientele, has rolled out its first CBD-only product: the Luxury CBD Pen – Calming Blend. The pen features a naturally derived 500 mg CBD oil blended with calming essential oils and citrus and grapefruit terpenes, which are organic compounds that lend flavor and aroma. Beboe says the “sleek and subtle” vape pen offers a fast-acting way to help curb anxiety, relieve pain and reduce inflammation “without any of that funny business.”
Pop-up Potcorn
Pop-Up Potcorn brings a new meaning to the phrase “Netflix and chill.” What’s billed as the first CBD-infused, microwavable, organic popcorn has popped up on the market. The company has zapped up three initial varieties, including this bag, which contains 10 mg of CBD; the two other varieties are infused with THC. The makers of Pop-Up Potcorn say the snack is designed for foodies who want to de-stress and relax. Aside from CBD, the ingredients are sea salt, California-grown popcorn and palm oil. Pop-Up Potcorn bills itself as a healthy, tasty alternative to tinctures, vape pens and other CBD products. For now the popcorn is available only in California, but once the Food and Drug Administration gives approval for CBD-infused food products, Potcorn will be widely available.
Green Roads Muscle & Joint Heat Relief
Athletes may want to try Green Roads’ new Muscle & Joint Heat Relief, an easy roll-on application for everyday aches, pains and tightness. The company says it’s specially formulated to penetrate sore muscles and work quickly “with powerful thermotherapy technology.” It’s made from a blend of Green Roads’ award-winning CBD, plus menthol, vitamin E and other natural botanicals including capsicum (pepper, as we know it, which has its own anti-inflammatory properties).
