CBD Spotlight: Nicole Jeffords Paints a Healthier Future

When arthritis pain zapped Nicole Jeffords, it greatly hindered her hands-on work. Painting portraits, writing short novels and editing artprofiler.com all became more difficult.

Jeffords, who resists taking prescription or over-the-counter drugs unless it’s a must, discovered CBD about two years ago and now raves of the results she has found from extract tinctures and capsules.

“It’s like you’re working with a pain-relieving substance that’s actually good for your body, that’s not going to slow you down, that’s not going to have side effects,” the Austin, Texas native says. “I’ve not had a single side effect from [CBD]…. It’s like a godsend, because you don’t go around feeling loopy.”

In addition to the pain relief, Jeffords credits CBD with improving her mood to the point that she no longer takes antidepressants.

“It’s not a cure,” she says. “But it can help you live a normal life.”
